Christian Liñán-Rivera

Christian has a marine biologist bachelor degree with a Masters degree in natural resources sustainable management. He has experience in phylogeny, genetics, aquaculture production, nutrition, and ecosystem impacts research. He has business management skills being owner and general administrator of two restaurants and a Montessori elementary school, and is a musician. Since his incorporation to NOS in 2010 he has received tuition by Peter Senge, SoL and the Academy for Systems Change on leadership, organizational learning tools, shared vision, system thinking, dialogue and sustainability. During the last two years Christian has participated in and learned from the teachings of John P. Milton and The Way of Nature.

He has special interest in designing and facilitating multi-stakeholder dialogues and participatory processes to build public policy focused on sustainable management of fisheries and restoration of coastal communities.
