Kindle Loomis

Kindle is the Co-Director of the Academy. Previously, she worked in food systems as Program Director for a social-profit (non-profit) focused on food education and access. With a background in Natural Resource Planning and Community International Development, Kindle has enjoyed her varied experiences, including work in sustainable fisheries, and collaborations with city management on land planning initiatives. Kindle’s introduction to systems thinking took place around the kitchen table in her formative years, where systems theory was often the topic of conversation, an education that continues to influence her professional endeavors. Working with the Academy provides an exciting new scope of learning opportunities, as well as an inspiring and energizing network of colleagues.
